Guest Richie M Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 Have you got a MSI MotherBoard ? (In your PC) or using a VIA 4in1 Motherboard Driver ? Do other devices work in that USB port ?

I am using an K7 DDR Motherboard ! Yes i have many devices hooked up with my USB ports... I also have a USB-HUB, but the SPV cradle is NOT connected there... Its direct to one of the two generic USB ports... I was using the P800 SyncCradle for over 3 moenths now with NO problems....

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 The only advice I can give at the moment is to try and reinstall activsync again :) have a look here for a guide on how to do it. I might not be the exact problem but it is worth a go. Ashley
Guest Richie M Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 Sorry mines a K3 Ultra - USB is crap on it - when it's doing too much (file transfer) it will just drop all USB connections :) Have to reboot PC and try again. It's a known fault with my particular Board, you may have the same problem. Just saying what i know :?

Guest kpc Posted March 13, 2003 Report Posted March 13, 2003 did you say your system accepts that it has a device attched when you plug the spv in? if so I'd deinstall the software then try plugging the hardware back in. see what xp has to say about that :) I had some issues wityh my install and that seemed to sort it.
