I have had a Nokia 3210, 7210, 8210, 8560, Thought they were great!

Got the 3210 after having lots of new aerials on my Erricson. Wanted something different so got the SPV. I think the Nokias that I owned were a better build quality than the SPV. Never had all the paint flaking of any of them like the SPV. I never had the case crack after dropping one 3ft on to the carpet either. I don't know if the new Nokia phones are built as well as the old ones though?

Oops! I've always thought the 9000 series were the world's sexiest phones. Out of date? Sure - but that's like saying a '71 Bordeaux is out of date. I'm currently toying with the idea of buying a refurb'ed 9000 - they can be bought for £70, SIM free. Failing that, as I've got two SIMs, possibly an (admittedly dreadful) 3210, mainly because it's (a) cheap and (;) so are SIM doublers for it - available too, which is more than can be said for many. SO... which should I do? Thanks to a weird special offer, I've got two O2 SIMs each giving me 30 free minutes for an absured £3.54 a month. If I use 45 minutes on one SIM, I wind up paying for the extra 15 minutes. I'm currently swapping SIMs back and forth in an unlocked ex-Virgin Alcatel 301. DO I stick with that, and put SIM #2 into a refurbed-sexy-but-unreliable Nokia 9000, or sinkt £30 in a refurbed 3210 and another £15 in a SIM doubler? (With the doubler, it uses SIMs alternatively - switch off, and back on again, and it swaps to the other SIM/phone number) My thought is... the 9000 - because that way I'm not left with a SIM-less phone looking for a home. On the other hand, it's double the price of the 3210, and my wife won't approve. But, what the hell, she's just spent £150 on a Treo 180, so maybe I can get away with it.

My previous phones have been an Ericsson brick (Can't remember model, took full size credit card sims though), a Nokia 3210, Nokia 3310 and then an SPV.

Not a lot of phones but then my SPV was my first non Pay As You Go mobile:shock:. I guess being a poor student made me a bit of a skinflint over phones but now I'm being paid I can get a decent phone. Just a shame I'm still skint after all the fluff I've bought! ;)

Nokia's have never been my favourites, but they were and are always tops for quality/price and are first in mobile developments in mass market (no 3G or SP, but GSMwise...). They are most durable and working phones that are 100% reliable in what they do.

Having said that... I have never owned a Nokia. I had one for a few weeks coz my T28 (1st phone) broke and I was given a 3210 meanwhile, which was promptly swapped for a Siemens 25 or something - the one with color display RGB, but I don't think it was actually that 'color-color', not SPV-like anyway ;)

And Sony-Z5 was good. No complaints whatsoever apart from some missing functionality and my speaker was very quiet (think it was faulty).

Now nothing can beat my SPV, if only SPVx or a new better, smaller SmartPhone.. I am definitely sticking to SP platform!

Started with some old Bocsh, then i got then nokia launched 3210, i i got it instantly... and the same with 3310... But then i visited a Tivoli in copenhagen, and i droped it from 30 meters hight, one of the funiest things I've ever seen :) ;) ... so i went back to the old 3210.. it didn't last long cuz the screen lost it conection, so i got an ols Siemens from a friend.. but only for a week or two, cus then Orange launched the SPV... :D
