Can anyone help a complete newbie to de-certify?

Ive looked at all the articles and guides...i get most of it but there always sumthin which jus confuses me...can any1 plzzzz talk me thru it in total plain english....im really good at pc's but i am awful at all this...ive only had my spv 2 days and its overwhelming me

oh and i cant use the orange de-cert thingy cus i aint even got the phone on the net yet!

The other option you have is to use the decert over the air via

the Orange developers site.

finally managed to do it...it was the hard reset that i could find explained

and i thought i still had 2 edit the file with that app but nope! ;)
