Block delete

is there a way of deleteing a block of text when editing a text/email message ?

e.g. delete from current cursor position to the start of the current field.

Kev,

If you hold the back key for about a second in the To, Cc or Subject fields then it will clear the field.

This isn't possible in the message body though, it will just delete it character by character (like holding backspace down on your pc).
