Guest bdmoore Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 Thanks to jacoch we now have ZIP functionality in smartexplorer! ;) Check out this post. Note: Your phone needs to be application-unlocked to run this as the prog is not certified.
Guest hughyb2001 Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 Thanks to Jacoch, thanks to u too, i can get part of my website completed now ;)
Guest TooMuch2AM Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 I'm not sure, but I'm pretty certain you can just put a link to a WMV file from your page that will automatically be played in Media Player on the phone... M
Guest hughyb2001 Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 ive tried the wmv file and when its clicked on the phone it comes through with all this onscreen code and does absolutely nothing ;)
Guest hughyb2001 Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 I installed the new version of smart explorer as suggested and zip files do work but the problem im having is downloading them from my site, it just says the file cannot be view on this device??? ill keep trying
Guest bdmoore Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 Ah - that is because the .zip files don't have anything associated with them. Will have to suggest that to jacoch. In the mean time, you could try tweaking the registry to associate zip files with smartexplorer. Not tried it yet myself but could be worth a go? Check out this post for instructions on adding a file association. ;)
