When i recieve a call I can see the picture but only have 2 beeps every 2 seconds as a sound. When creating caller profiles it recongnises the Wav file and selects it but wont play it,

any ideas............

Any ideas... :evil: YEH IT DONT WORK :evil: . Get smartface, it`s alot better and follow midnights tweeks to get ringtone on SD Card ;) :wink:

tried smartface but that was even more of a pain to get to work :?. I'll try it again so i'll let post what happens.

Downloaded Smartface4 and installed it but the app wont open. Tried opening it using all explorer and smart explorer which still didnt work. Restarted the phone numerous times, still not working.... anybody no why this is happening?

There isn't anything to 'open' mate. it's just a process that runs in the background. check with explorer and you'll see it. To get it to work you need to create a dir on sd card called pict. store a jpeg in that folder with the number that you want to associate it with as the name of the file eg '07000123456'. There's a user guide floating about somewhere, you should be able to find it if you do a search. (Am posting using my phone so can't find the link for ya)

The above post was about smart face by the way. if you put a link to the app in your startup folder, the process will automatically start when you switch your phone on. also checkout midnight's tutorial and his smart face template

Are the ringtones on your SD card? This is a known problem, and will be fixed in the next release of Caller 2 Picture (to be released in a few days time).

No the ringtones are in the ISPM/AppData/Sounds folder and on the app it shows that it can see them, the problem is when someone calls it doesnt play them ;)
