can DVD files B convertd so that they can play on PocketMVP

hi ive downloaded the matrix in dvd quality and is a DivX file can i convert it so it is small enough and of ok quality to watch on my spv.

i tried to do this by useing microsoft video converter then changed it into an Avi file using stoik and then virtual dub to make it playable on pocketMVP( well at least that was the idea ) it wont play can someone help me PLEASE!

Virtual Dub should of sorted it out m8, have you got the correct DIVX decoder installed for the film?

For DIVX's to play in PocketMVP you must encode them with DIVX 5.0.2

i have now tried to simply convert the file using VirtualDub and it loads up the file then i try and save as Avi and i get a error message saying......

Error initializing audio stream compression: the requested conversion is not possible! can anyone help!

you need to unzip this file then load these setting before starting a conversion. Like richie said a search will churn up loads or results and advice.
