Iconbar on multipage skins

Hey all

I'm tryin to design my first multipage skin and the problem i'm having is that i can only get the iconbar to appear when showing the first screen. When i scroll through to the second screen it disappears, i've managed to get the second screen to leave a gap at the top for the iconbar but it doesn't appear just a solid colour used for my borders!

I've seen on the brushed2 screen that the iconbar remains at the bottom, i'm tryin to get it to stay at the top! Is it actually possible to do this? And if so do i need to put in anything special in the coding for the iconbar?

sure its only a positioning change ?

As i said m8, no can do. mine have the Icon bar at the bottom of everypage of my skins because that's the only way you can get it to show , if you look at most of the other multi-page themes they only have it on one page :roll:

It's all to do with how multi-pages works ;)

You can put the icon bar at the top with only a 2 pages skin (and of course on single page ones).

I can explain why if some wants...it's a little bit technical. So just remember: only with 1 or 2 pages.

Remember: Plugins "selectable" (which can be selected), all but:

-Tray bar (icon bar)

-Carrier

-Clock (date/hour)

Differents cases:

Skin 1 page:

We do what we want with the plugins placement

Skin 2 pages:

On the first page:

ONLY ONE plugin "selectable" can be displayed, and at the top of the screen. Many other "non-selectables" plugins can be on the first page too.

It can be the message plugin (like Brushed2 of Jay-2zk), but in this case the tray bar MUST be at the bottom because the message plugin is a selectable one. Often we use the "tip" plugin, which is any "selectable" plugin with a "1" pixel height, and at the top of the page, over the tray bar, with the tip plugin the tray bar can be displayed at the top.

On the 2nd page:

All the plugins can be used, but they have to represent a 180 pixel height if we add the height of each plugin.

"Multi-pages" Skin (3 pages and beyond):

For the first page:

Equal to the 2 pages skin

For the other pages:

Only ONE plugin per page, and works better with selectables ones. Each plugin must have a 200 or 180 pixel height propertie, it's this height whiwh simulate a "page" :wink: If you use more than one plugin per page, always use a selectable at the top, and a non-selectable at the bottom (i.e Event for 160, and the icon bar for 20)

Oh well...i guess roll on the custom plugins for that then.....not that I actually want it....nm

Thanx for the info guys.I'd been at it for hours thinking i was coding something wrong!

Also now i know what the "tip" plugin is for, been wonderin why some of the skins had a plugin with just 1 pixel height!
