can anyone tell me what i need to put in

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsft/Windows Media Player 8/Parameters

I seem to fu.. up my windows media player when i tried to change it.

if you there. klik Values. I thougt it needed to say SkinDir anyway.. maybe it something else wich a cant inmagen. My Media Player waunt start anymore... :cry: plz check it at youre phone.

You have two keys values there

the first one SkinDir gives the location of the skin

the second value is called SkinFile this is the name of the skin file.

it seems to be right... its what a checkt before... damn. The most fun part of the phone isnt wurking any more. geuss i really did a job this time! :x Is there a reset or a restore option? like WinXP or so. ore a new install...

Can you explain what you were doing to mess the media player

file up?

hey... ;)

tried to change the media player. like a different skin. as on the site coolsmartphone. changed the value. guess i had it wrong a sevral time`s. so finaly i thougt it would be i good idea to change it back to its origanel settings. so changed the value again. from there on it didn`t started up anymore.. i posted earlier that the Orange side unlock was down. i needed to unlock a athor phone. so i could install the Regedit and see what the value`s where there. no luck...... :cry:

still...

the best way to laern is to first Fu..it up and than try to fix it. isnt that the part of the fun... :) :!:

my MWP didnt started because a had one letter wrong. the S from wondow"s"

TIP fore all you folks......

watch what youre doing when youre editing the Regedit. I know its a lot easier when im doing this on XP. :) :evil:

They shout make the the site a bit more easy.... atleast the explaning part could use a little more info.....
