Where's the new stuff?

I used to religiously visit all the SPV sites and newsgroups on a daily basis looking for new SPV software.

I haven't been around for about 3 weeks.

However, now I'm back there seems to be nothing new - just the same old beta versions and the same old programs.

Is the software development for the product drying up?

I think you'll find that all the easy stuff has been done and the developers who are really working on the scene are now working on larger scale stuff.

If you go and browse Smartphony.org you'll find half a dozen games that came out just in the last week, unfortunately they're pretty much all crap that's been poorly coded/designed and rushed out to try and take advantage of the market. Best recent game released is Toki Tori. App wise we just got Repligo and another doc reader (can't remember the name).
