I upgraded from wmp 8 to wmp9 and now I can´t copy (music, movies etc.) from wmp to my spv... Anybody has a clue??? I know that I can copy the directly, but wmp8 had a great "compressing system"...

This has been brought up before, and I'm afraid WMP9 isn't compatible with the SPV ;)

i use WMP9 quite happily with my SPV, it sees it and gives me the directory structure etc as it should, i am using the xp version on XP maybe that makes a difference, also have you allowed it to do all the updates it needs?

if you unlock your SPV via the orage developer site it will work with WMP9.

James, your getting confused with Windows Media Player and Windows Media Encoder

Windows Media Encoder 9 will still not work with the SPV if you OTA decert.

Windows Media Encoder 7 is the only one that can encode a file compatible with the SPV's Windows Media Player (version 8.1 FYI) ;)

excuse my ignorance, i am spvless until friday. i use windows media player 9. does this mean that if i copy a cd into wmas and then transfer them to my SD card they wont work? is the only solution to downgrade my player, and what to do with these WMP9 WMAs?

I encountered similar problems, Windows XP with WMP9 not copying files onto storage card. I've ulocked my phone but this doesn't seem to help.

Any ideas?
