Converting Calculator - or Perl so I can do one myself!

A decent calculator with conversion and/or user-definable functions.

I'd love a calculator with shortcuts to "+VAT" (instead of *1.175) "-VAT", and that did kilos to stones (and pounds?), euros to pounds sterling, etc. etc.

Anyone seen anything like this?

Alternatively, if someone had a version of Perl working, I could knock this up myself. ;) (I did know C, but I forgot it all one night ...)

Someone here did write an improved calculator in HTML. I think you can get it from www.monolithix.org

Thanks for that. It's cool, but not what I'm after.

It's got all the maths functions (sin, cos, tan, pi), but no conversions. I kinda lost my use for those after school.

All done in HTML/javascript, though ... nice ... Maybe I stand a better chance of knocking up what I'm after in that ...

I asked the guy who made the html app to incoorporate a dkk-euro converter and he was very happy to help.

Maybe you should e-mail him and ask.
