Terminal Services keeps trying to install itself!

I tried installing the Pocket PC version of the Terminal Services client not realising it was not the correct version for the SPV!, now when I try to install anything using ActiveSync a message appears on my phone for a couple of seconds saying it's trying to install the Terminal Services cab file then disappears and ActiveSync just gives you the usual message about checking your phone for further actions. I removed the entry for Terminal Services from the ActiveSync list on my PC and uninstalled the Terminal Services for Pocket PC software but the message still appears on my phone, can anyone suggest anything else apart from a Hard Reset as I have just got my phone decertified from the Orange Website!.
