Using the camera

I have a quick question. I wanted to know what do I need to make the camera work with my SPV?

just plug the phone in and you're away.

The original phone you had to take pictures via Inbox/SMSNewMMS

updated phones now have a little app called Picture Manager.

There is an app you can buy from IA-Style called IA-Album which is a standalone app

with more features than the Picture Manager.

Thanks for your help. I got it to work. I do have another question. Is the quality of the camera always turn out poor?

if you want good quality turn the resolution up to 480*640. If you just want to use it for mms use one of the other two lower settings. If you have a proper digital camera you'll realise that is very poor in comparison. It's nigh on useless in low light. But at least we didn't have to pay extra for it!

Generally the SPV camera isn’t as good as the ones on Nokias (they have a low light mode for instance), but then again Nokias can’t do MP3, don’t have upgradeable memory (SD / MMC), can’t do HTML, etc, etc….

I think I’ll put up with a bit of a duff camera! :wink:

And as Mike said, we didn't pay extra for it!
