What is a the small battery for inside the smartphone???

its about the size of a vitamin pill but its prob for bios or the clock, - just wonder what would happen if i pulled it out - would i just reset the clock or would i reset the whole phone???

Errrr dunno what would happen, but this is the backup battery.

Usually it keeps the clock and stuff running.

I have just painted my spv (and a large ammount of my kitchen) sparkly blue, This meant that the battery was unplugged overnight, and nothing that I can spot has happened. But then mattbrown, if you take a close look you will realise that to have seen it, you had to disconnect it yourself. It connects to the main board via the touch connector next to it.
