Guest martin16v Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Hey you lot. I'm thinking of upgrading my current phone to the Orange SPV phone. Its 69.99 squid from Orange. Is that a good price? You get a camera with it too. I've read some good and bad views on this phone, and currently own the nokia 7650. Is it better? :shock:

I mean, why are they giving them out for free? Hmmm. The nokia 7650 has now be dis-continued by Orange. So has the Orange Everyday 50 Tariff. Well unless your already on it ;)

They must either have a lot of unsold phones or they want to get more people using gprs so they can rake in the cash from that. Whatever the reason you can't argue with a phone as good as this for nothin. Good luck hope you love yours as much as i do ;)

It is a very nice phone, but is functionally no different to the SPV. I think I'd be inclined to go down to your local Orange shop and get them to do the free upgrade now ;) After all you can't get a much better deal than that. I really do wonder why people buy rubbishy nokias when you can get a phone that is infintely better for a less money.

Now if you're waiting for the Smartphones with built-in camera and faster processor, that's something to wait for (if you can wait that long). But if it were me, I'd go grab the SPV for free and not look back. -Mc
