Guest Silverlex02 Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 I tried installing a program on my spv and I made a mistake. I pasted the file on my spv in the windows folder. Once I learned that I made a mistake I tried to delete it. Now everytime I try to delete that file I got the error access denied. Does anyone have any idea how I could go about deleting this file?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Reboot the phone and try again as it could be down to the fact the the app is in the resedent memory and cannot be deleted.
Guest Silverlex02 Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 I tried to reboot the phone again delete it. I still wasn't able to. Could you please tell me how I do a hard reset.
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Unless your phone is totally messed up, you shouldn't have to do a hard reset! Do you have Task Manager installed on your phone!? Quit any programs that might be using the file you are trying to delete (remember to check the hidden programs as well.) And then try to delete the file. That's what I did...
Guest Silverlex02 Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 I did the hard reset now I can't get the phone to power up. Could I have totally messed up the phone?
Guest Silverlex02 Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 It doesn't seem to go passed the power up screen. (the one with the sunset.)
