Guest TSCRYPTO Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Whats the problem? What's it not doing when you try to install or use it?
Guest StoutMan Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 it says that it not a valid home screen
Guest TSCRYPTO Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Where is it from (Smartphony or elsewhere)? Is is dowloadable as a .hme file?
Guest StoutMan Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 her's the zip, try it !! new english version availablle now !!corona.zipcoronaeng.zip
Guest TSCRYPTO Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Have installed it OK - make sure you have it installed in IPSMApp DataHome edit: I thought at first that the .jpgs would have to be taken out of the folder, but that wasnt the case - the XML see's them OK in the folder. Its not too bad - where's it from? Smartphony I'm guessing - should really go and have a look, eh? :? ;)
Guest StoutMan Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 I got to unz zip it and placed it on the phone but when I got to use it in the home setting screen and then got to done and back to home it comes out with a error ...what about yours?
Guest TSCRYPTO Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Dunno whats wrong - it should just be a cse of unzipping it - copying to the appropriate folder and then selecting it under settings - all other options apart from the name have been left as 'default' right??
Guest TSCRYPTO Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Yep installed OK for me. 1. Extract files on PC. 2. Copy to IPSMApp DataHome 3. Select Corona as names and leave all other values as default. 4. Hit done. If you have done this, then I am wonndering if the file you d'l was perhaps damaged. Might pay to d/l it again and have another go from scratch. ;)
Guest StoutMan Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Done it You have to put the folder where all the pictures are in the home folder as well I was taking them out and placing them seperatly
Guest TSCRYPTO Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Done it You have to put the folder where all the pictures are in the home folder as well I was taking them out and placing them seperatly Yep, spot on - as noted above I thougt initially that this might have been the problem - that the pics had to be taken out of the folder and placed in the HOME folder. Not the case, as we have both found out. ;)
Guest @ngel Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 I haven't test it yet, however it is one of the coolest I have seen for SmartPhone!
Guest Maverick Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 I like the Smart OS skin, becoz it doesnt slow my phone down...
Guest midnight Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 i know this is a windows smartphone, but do we really have to have all these skins based on os's????? no originality/inspiration in any of em, just my opinion of course, but i much prefer something that doesnt look like an os.
Guest EMGenius Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 its a good point midnight, sure they look pretty - but only if you lie the origional! i am not a fan of multiple window skins myself, why should you have to scroll through things when it can all be on one screen!
