SPV Camera quality?

Whats the quality like compared with the nokia 7650? My sister has the 7210 with camera attachment and the quality is poor to say the least. The Sharp GX10 isnt much better either. My last phone was a nokia 7650 and I must say the quality on that was much better. Has anyone got any pics they have took?

I think the quality is EXCELLENT for a phone. Here are some examples:

Outside - kinda cloudy:

This is a crappy picture, but when you take into account that they are rushing toward me fairly fast in the spinning thing, it's okay!

Inside, sun shining thru the window!

Be aware that although you can get some nice outdoor shots with it indoor shots tend to be very dark, as you can expect with a Cmos sensor and no flash.

Unfortunately I've lost my camera and headphones ;) I don't care about the headphones as they are rubbishy and I'll just buy a better replacement, but the camera is a blow. I'll keep a look out on eBay for a cheap one, or if anyones got a spare they want to sell off ....

IMO the SPV camera is better than the 7650's - the shots seem to have more detail. Look at a 7650 picutre and it seems more "posterized" than an SPV one - possibly it uses a higher JPEG compression?

I've used the camera feature on the SE T68i, N3650,N7650, N7210, Siemens SL55, Sharp GX10 and i've got to say the SPV's quality is the best of the lot, specially for outdoor/daylight pics.

However the spv camera is not very pratical. Its an add-on camera and takes about 5 seconds to take the picture after you press capture!

Not really. It takes couple of seconds only. The rest is spend in saving it on SD or phone whatever you choose, hence the clock icon.

Not quite as bad as meaks says, it takes the photo almost immediately you press the button, but it takes about 5 seconds to transfer the image onto the phone, so the phone is unresponsive.

I used mine for cheap snaps all around egypt and it worked a treat.
