Guest scar Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Is it normal that my battery is out of power after 24 hours??? scar
Guest Vector Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 What are u using the phone for, just calls and texts or MP3 etc. :?:
Guest Matt Kirby Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Depends on use (talk / GPRS / etc), but that sounds about right - unless its only been on standby. I recharge mine each night, just to be on the safe side! Just a thought, have you installed the UK update? That does improve battery life slightly.
Guest scar Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Not using it at all just in stand by mode gprs i'm living in Holland
Guest scar Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not using it at all just in stand by mode gprs i'm living in Holland
Guest caio1 Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not using it at all just in stand by mode gprs i'm living in Holland You mean with gprs always connected?? Caio
Guest caio1 Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Always connected = there's an application like msn which keep the phone connected... I don't mean just having the G in the status bar... What's your case? Caio
Guest caio1 Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 then, if you are really always gprs connected, 1 day is great. On orange manual it's stated that it should last 2 hours of "gprs connection". Mine, with just phone usage (sms, call and sometimes gprs), last 2-2,5 days. Caio
Guest Vector Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Tap the red hang up button a few times, usually works for me
Guest midnight Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 if it is just the G (roughtly in the center of the screen) you are not connected to gprs, that just tells you that gprs is available.
Guest midnight Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 and if you are only getting 24hrs out of it with no calls and just in standby then it sounds like you have a dodgy battery, call O and get it replaced
Guest midnight Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 you'd normally expect to get 2-3 days out of it just in standby mode
