Sudden Battery Life drop - Weird

My SPV seems to suddenly lose a lot a battery life between 00:00 and 01:00 in the morning

From a full charge at 1700 to Empty at 02:00

However it drops suddenly between 00:00 and 01:00

The phone is on its lock and the GPRS is not switched on

Any help/advice as this is confusing me.

PS I do work nights so it is important to use it at this time of night

I have found similar behaviour, but not every night!

Weirdly, it seems to have stopped since I changed home screen from 'Orange 2' to 'Full'?!?
