Can I do the orange care thing, ring up a few days later and get a new one? what happens to the old phone, will I definately get a new one, and not a bag to send my existing phone to them for repair! Any help and advice appreciated. cheers.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 yes and you will get a new or referb phone within 24 hours.
Guest Richie M Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Yes, a refurb' one probably, also they will take the old one when they deliver the replacement ;)
Guest PhilA Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 I've had a replacement phone from Orange under Orange Care, and whilst it may be refurbed, you can't tell that it's not new: there's not a mark on it. The only thing you'll find is that they only replace the handset (i.e. not the battery or accessories) and it comes to you in a little white box. When the courier delivers the replacement, you give the courier your old phone and he takes it away. I thoroughly recommend Orange Care, but then it doesn't cost me anything (I'm still on a talkplan I've had for years, and because it had Orange Care included on it when I took it out, I continue to get it for nothing)
