Can Contacts files be transferred to Storage Device?

Is there a way to transfer the following files to Storage Device (and save space):

1. Contacts files

2. Calendar files

3. Sounds (and still be able to use them as ringtones)

Also is it safe to delete the sounds that come with the phone? How do I do these?

Thanks.

sorry, here's one last question.

I saw this at the midnight page:

Ringtones on SD/MMC Card

Open the registry editor:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERControlPanelSoundsRingTone0

Select 'Values'

Select 'Sound' and change the Value Data: Storage Cardpath to wavwavname (eg. Storage CardRingtonesmyringer.wav)

Just remember not to delete the ringtone off the storage card, cos otherwise the ringer will default back to a boring midi again.

But how do I open and edit the registry editor? ( remember i'm just a newbie! )

You need a prog called PHM Regedit.

Get it from Monos Site

Just copy it into ipsm/windows/start menu and run from the programs menu.

Have fun. Hope this helps 8)

thanks, psychoDave. But does this require decertifying? Cause I'm still trying to figure out how to decertify  .

As a follow-up querry, how do I store my photos in the Storage Device by default? Can anybody answer this?

Thanks, once again.

It should store photos by default on the storage card? unless you have an old

version of IA album. Or you have the security switch turned on if you have an SD card.

Also to decertify you have two main options

1/ Use over the air decert via Oranges developer site.

2/ (personal fav) Use Will's decert app found here

On IA Album there is now but with the standard

camera software there is not a way to choose.
