After 2 weeks of SPV ownership my current status as follows;

1. lack of network coverage-phone switches OFF. ( not in power down mode).

2. Tried to increase the number of rings before my voice mail kicks in, (was anywhere between 1 & 3 rings). Used the following from Orange 156-

**61*07973100123**20(secs)# grn key........."failed".

3. Repligo demo downloaded but cannot copy either web pages, docs etc-?????

2 empty baked bean tins & a piece of string.

I somehow doubt that chucking a large whiskey down the throat of my SPV is gonna improve things.

Got .rgo files to copy OK. Word docs ok but I tried various maps, Mappoint, Multimap & Streetmap(best) & disappointed. Zoom feature gives options 10-300%...the only worthwile options are 50 & 75%, the others are unreadable. Pretty much the same for flow feature. I guess I'll wait for GPS option.

As for 1&2, yeah I agree network probs. After numerous calls to 150 I get the impression "polite but not well informed", especially on the SPV & yes 156 no better. Maybe they are going by the manual which is about as much good as a nipples on trout.

Quality may not be all Repligo's fault...ever tried zooming a .jpg on your PC to 300%?

And with CS, with the SPV your best bet is to hope it gets passed onto Level 2 support, then hop and pray they ever call you back (i actually have been before, although not with a solution).

RepliGo Tips:

In flowed view, you can use the 4 key to make things smaller and the 5 key to make things bigger. This will adjust the font size to one of 5 preset levels.

In zoom view, you can do the same thing and you will get many more zoom levels than the presets. Just hit the 4 and 5 keys to try this out.
