Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 What are you trying to do through Outlook?
Guest PsychoDave Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Are you using outlook 2000 or express?
Guest amo Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 is the phone switched on?? (sorry thats the most inteligent question I could think of at 3 in the morning!)
Guest siu99spj Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Have you connected as guest? If you have, Outlook won't see it.
Guest nige Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I dont think the ie browser supports chinese language. Open ie, go to menu>Options>General - there is only western, UTF-8 and UTF-7. Maybe a new release will allow you to view chinese encodings. However, I have just converted a chinese word document using repligo and this views correctly in both full mode and flowed - presumably because it is showing a jpg (or similar) view rather than font. Not really a solution, but you could print web pages to repligo, then view them.
Guest TSCRYPTO Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I doubt that a new release will allow viewing of chinese characters - not for a while at least...The plug-in required (I am guessing similar to that used for IE on your desktop) would be substantial in size. However, using repligo as in interim solution ain't a bad idea... ;)
Guest nige Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 thats true, and the nina font would have to support the characters as well which would make that large as well. probably have to wait until MS bring out Asian language OS (like they have for French/German etc). They were talking of this a few months ago.
