Merging Registry Entries

Is it possible to merge registry entries automatically? I'm thinking of having entries for various ring tones strored on the SD card, rather than having to manually enter the path every time I want to change it. Being able to execute an entry and merge would make it so much easier!

Does anyone have any shortcuts to manually inputting the path to the ringtones?

Ya! Having a 'Merge' .reg file function just like in PC environment, would be very useful.

I can't import registry entry using SmartExplorer (the 'Import' function doesn't seem to work).

Hello FrankyG, Why don't you just use the program "Changer Sonneries" as that allows you to store ring tones on the SD card and swap between them, it's much easier than editing the registry.

use resco file explorer you can import/export registry entries :)

yep, Changer Sonneries is exactly what I'm using now...and very nice too. English version would be nicer ;-)

tick on the "Associate Reg Files"

then look for the reg file to be merge and just click on it just like installing a .cab or .hme file. ;)

thats how i put the Ü in the predefine text message.

now that i have upgrade to the QTEK ROM i dont need that process anymore :)
