Guest deejayry Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Can anyone tell me why i can only get 6 mb of files on my 8mb SD card Unfortunatly i'm still stuck with the standard SD card, i have removed the crap which is put there by orange but can only get about 6mb on cant even get 3 mp3 tracks on it ;)
Guest TSCRYPTO Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 The remaining bit of the card is taken up with formatting. Its 8MB in size, but part of that is what makes the thing work... My 128MB card actually has 121MB free on it. ;)
Guest deejayry Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 Thanks for that, i had a feeling that the space maybe taken by the volume info etc, but never noticed it on any other form of compact media. now all i need is a huge SD card, anyone know if theres a limit to how much the phone supports?
