Guest Arkoth Posted May 1, 2003 Report Posted May 1, 2003 Is there a way to run an animation on smartphone startup ? I need it to run before seeing homescreen anyone please help ;)
Guest Lojt Posted May 1, 2003 Report Posted May 1, 2003 Sure, if the animation is a program, you can start is by putting a shortcut to it in IPSM/windows/startup
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted May 1, 2003 Report Posted May 1, 2003 Welcome to the site ;) Why would you want to see animation before the homescreen? what sort of animation are you talking about?
Guest urdone311 Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 I know what he's talking about- if you have ever used the Sony Ericcsson T68i, there is the "green logo" animation on startup (and shutdown for that matter). I don't have my smartphone yet, its on the way from Ebay.co.UK! BUT, if theres a Flash player for the phone i'm sure u could just stick a .SWF file in the startup folder ....that would be sweet. I'm sure you could just stick a .GIF there too, but then ur image program would probly want to open. Once again I can't say much because I don't even have one yet, IS there a flash (6) player for smartphone?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 There is no flash player and you cannot use .gif either ;)
Guest davidhorn Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 I wish I could get rid of the "Test Phone - Not for sale" on my startup screen. I got a new one from Mobius.
