Guest pauliousprime Posted May 2, 2003 Report Posted May 2, 2003 MMMMmm, I have had a GPRS fault for a couple of days now, I have been able to access MSN msngr but unable to send/receive email or access the internet. I have GPRS connection from Orange. but I have moved a few files around, but since moved them back - I have listed the files below, If anyone has any ideas I would be most grateful as Orange just keep telling me to soft reboot and sent me two SIM updates. cemail.vol GCounterFile.mml mxip_initdb.vol mxip_lang.vol evtlog0.dat evtlog0.ver evtlog0.idx If the result of these files being moved and then moved back to their origional location has interrupted my service, It would be a great help if anyone has any ideas as to relirf my stress. Thank you...
Guest martin Posted May 2, 2003 Report Posted May 2, 2003 MSN messenger, E-mail and Internet web all use APN (access point name) orangeinternet therefore if messenger works, then its not due to a GPRS network issue. It must be your phone settings. Check you have the following Settings- data connections, 'Internet connection = Orange GPRS' Internet explorer-connections, tick 'Automatically detect settings'. I take it that WAP and MMS work OK ?
Guest pauliousprime Posted May 2, 2003 Report Posted May 2, 2003 I have all of the settings mentioned, this is why I canot understand why I canot connect. I have never tried my WAP, just used my SPV for Internet and email + MSN msngr.
