I think ROM status (ie saying whether they are playable) would be potentially useful, however, this forum should probably be more about smartphones than gameboy games. Additionally, we need to be clear that gnuboy is not a tool for piracy, it's a tool to extend the usefullness of games for people who allready own them.

PM me, cos you could build up a list and I'll post it as a compatability/useability list on the gnuboy SP site.

PS: Posts are never deleted unless something is very out of order... The problem is that these posts lead to questions like: "Where do you get this/that?", "Can you email me a copy?", "How do I get ROMs?" etc... So usually these are locked before it gets to that point (piracy/legal issues).. I think that all GNUboy ROMs topics have been locked. Just one of the _very few_ things we gotta comply with ;)

I'm happy to link to a compatiblity list for GNUboy, as Madu says, posting a list of 200 ROMs that you've tested definitely encourages trading of ROMs on the forum (or via PM), and this is a big no-no.

Storing the compatibility list on the GNUboy site seems like a good idea to me, and as I say, i'd be more than happy to have it linked from the forum.

And I think that not posting about gameboy roms on this forum is definitely a good approach just to keep it unambiguous, however I feel a compatability/useability list on the gnuboy SP site would definitely be usefull (and the appropriate place for it), if rchiileea wanted to get me started with an initial list then I could put the structure in place on my page and then put a mechanism for users to submit the status of their games to widen the list.
