Sim unlocking...

Quick question. I wanted to sim-unlock my phone today. Got the program, and followed the instructions!

I'm using XP.

The 3 coloured canary screen says v.0.95 (does this mean bootloader version?)

I run the program and it goes: 0% 33% 66% - invalid code. Aborting.

What am I doing wrong .. or what do I need to complete this!?

Also, I think I messed something up in my pathetic attempt to un-sim lock it!

Instead of Orange (in the network field) it says Radio!? So I must have fiddle with something odd... :shock:

It does say Radio occasionally...i've no idea why SIM unlock would affect this though...

Well 3 reboots later - and 2 hours .. it still says Radio .. and no signal whatsoever... so I'm thinking I'm gonna have to do a hard reset!

I'll fiddle with the sim unlock before re-installing all the apps again! Don't want it to go haywire *sniffles*

Did a hard reset and tried sim-unlocking ... still get the same error .. guess I have the wrong bootloader *shrug*

I'll just have to live without I guess *sniff*

bootloader 0.95 is sometimes troublesome where SIM-unlocking's concerned. You either need to downgrade to 0.93 or upgrade to 0.98; in the latter case you'll lose the greater part of your bootloader functionality. Not a massive problem, you could always use USBterm instead....

What happens when you switch 'radio on/off' in the quick list ?

When I turned radio off it went nutz .. turned it on again .. and it still said radio as network! Quite odd...

I'll try uploading the bootloader though...
