Reboot Shortcut

When I installed PocketTV it rebooted my phone, as part of the last phase of installation, without me having to switch the phone off and on again. This got me thinking. Is it possible to have a shortcut that would do the same, ie. reboot the phone without touching the power button? The power button can be troublesome because it takes a few press to get the phone started again after a power down.

A mere convenience perhaps but God is in the details.
