Setting up contact numbers

Some advice on contact phone number formats so incoming calls match to the contact list would be great. I seem to be having a lot of calls from known contacts that aren't matching up.

A lot of contacts are setup having +44 and dropping the leading zero or having spaces in the number, does this stop the matching?

Any advice appreciated.

For numbers to be matched all contacts numbers need to be in the +44 format with no spaces. You can download Paul's Outlook Contact Reformatter from my site to quickly remove all spaces.
