Enhanced Power Management

Since I think we uniformly hope for longer battery life from this product, I would like to see advanced power management for the SPV/Smartphone platform such as:

- different power management settings for:

1) Docked (charging), Undocked (on battery)

2) Daytime/Evening settings (I need auto email sync every hour during the day, but not at 3am)

-Timers for GPRS connections (ie. close connection after 2,5,10,60 minutes of non-use)

-A setting that keeps the screen backlight off until I unlock/un-keylock the phone

Can anyone thing of any others?

As well a keeping the backlight off until you unlock the keyboard I'd like to see settings for keeping the light on all the time (without having to run a game in the background) and another setting to have the light off at all times (not really necessary in bright sunlight/indoor lighting). Perhaps there could be an on/off/auto setting accessed by the power button menu.
