Flexi Keyboard and Application Unlocking - Disaster Strikes!

I bought the Flexi Keyboard for my SPV.

My SPV was already application-unlocked.

INSTALLING THE FLEXI KEYBOARD IS EASY...

I downloaded the Orange update with the new drivers for the flexi keyboard. This is downloaded from the SPV (Programs/Orange Updates)

APPLICATION LOCKED AGAIN...

This process re-locked the phone.

THEN DISASTER STRIKES...

I went through the unlocking process on the Orange Developers' site again, but this time it did not work, and every few minutes the SPV beeps and gives me an error message "Connection Error - Error - unable to place a call".

1] The SPV is also constantly connected to GPRS and will not disconnect.

2] the phone no longer rings on an incoming call

3] the phone does not dial out reliably

CAN ANYONE HELP?

THE GOOD NEWS IS...

By the way, the Flexi Keyboard is fantastic. Great

quality, easy to use, and a must for anyone who needs to

type a lot of text (email or sms).

Orange GPRS has been up and down a lot lately. So the unable to connect is probably due to that.

As your phone is constantly trying to dial out this may cause problems with incomming calls.

Your solution is to turn of auto syncronisation for email and use a pass through connection to unlock.

Although I had 4 bars, the problem WAS caused by a GPRS signal problem.

I visited the big city today, and the problem sorted itself out!
