unwanted applications

i want to remove 'picture manager' and 'sound manager' from my spv.

they are two apps i've never used and will never use.

is it possible to remove,and what's the procedure?

As they're just part of the MMS client, they can not be uninstalled. However if you browse to IPSMWindowsStart Menu you can remove the shortcuts.

thanx for the reply monolithix,guess i'll have to make do with removing the shortcuts then.

surely orange should give us the option of removing programmes that came with an update tho.what d'ya reckon?

As i said, they didn't come with the update, they're merely shortcuts to elements of an application that has always been there....

Hmmm that sounds odd, I'm sure I read on some page, that the Danish update included Sound Manager and Picture Manager because we were everso patient with their silly update!

Which basically says that this Danish update give blah blah blah and 2 new applications: Picture Manager and Sound Manager...

Yeah, its just the picture and camera elements of the 3rd party MMS software (EZMMS or something). Orange are just trying to butter you up after the complaints that there is no way of getting to the camera witthout creating a new MMS...
