where should you put your ringtone

everytime I turn off my phone the wav file that I saved in the windows folder disappears, what folder should I use to avoid copying the wav evertime I switch off the phone

IPSM/Application Data/Sounds.

Place all your ringtones in there. You may have to create the folder called 'Sounds'
