Guest drblow Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 I DL'ed this prog - remoteDSP - from microsoft (I think) - but I'm sure it was from the PDA section, not smartfone. It's meant to allow you to control the SPV keys from the PC desktop (yeah?!?) I can't work it at all!! Just get a blank white screen when I open the app! & it just seemed to make my SPV go funny for a minute, and then wee icons appeared at the top icon bar(beside my signal & battery meters) Can anyone tell me have I just DL'ed the wrong version, or how does it work?
Guest Vector Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 There is a readme file that you get when you d/l the remotedsp from the ms site, that tells you how to do it
Guest Vector Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 And it's meant to be for pocket pc but it works on smartphone ;)
Guest drblow Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Na m8! Didn't get a readme file - just DL'ed the .exe file!
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Brief instructions: [*]Run the remote DSP client on your PC, you should have a white screen. [*]Run "cedisp" in your phone, you'll have a chunk of screen viewable, click action once. [*]Press left and click "Connect" [*]You should get a screen with PPP_PEER on, click action once more and it should wake up on your PC. Find a keymap here: http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php...ight=remote+key
Guest drblow Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Eh... Ok I did that! So, what's it supposed to do?? The screen has appeared with my program menu, but nothing happens when I click any of it!?
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 See the above link for a keymap to control it.
