Fast forward and Rewind in media player

What use is a media player without fast forward and reverse (and ideally bookmarking as well).

90% of my mp3 listening is recorded radio 4 programs - usually 30mins or more - and without standard navigation controls it is impossible.

I think a revamped media player all around. It needs some kind of basic playlist even and some basic normal jog/shuttle/whatever controls.

I agree with both of you

we really could do with a updated media player

in fact we shouldnt be tied to using just media player

i wish it was possible to use different media devices
