Ringtone Problem

I have tried several times to add a ringtone to my SPV but am yet to have any luck :D I downloaded some from the orange site direct to my SPV and they were automatically placed in the application datasounds directory. When I select them they play perfectly well under the ringtone selection but when I get a call it seems to use the tone I had previously selected :?

I have tried several times now and can't seem to get it working. I've tried with both .wav and .mid files but neither seem to work :x

I haven't set up personalised ringtones for callers as I use the same tone for everyone so it's not that causing it :cry: Is it perhaps a faulty handset?

If anyone can help or suggest anything I would appreciate it!

Surely someone must be able to tell me if this is a problem with my phone or a setting that seems to be wrong :D This is the second forum I have posted on and nobody has come up with a solution :cry:

Not had this problem - but maybe you have a custom ring tone assigned to the caller who is ringing

Make sure you click done after editing the sounds - clicking home button will not apply them...

Well it would appear that the person I get most calls from was in my contacts list with a custom ring tone :shock: but I don't recall ever setting this as I normally only ever use 1 ring tone. I guess I will have to have a look through the rest and make sure they are all set with default tone of NONE :oops:
