Guest dom Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 There's a couple of apps I'd like to see on SPV (would help in persuading me back!), anyone know if they are coming or likely to come? 1) An electronic book reader (to buy e-books to read). I know the screen is small, but I find the fonts very readable nevertheless. It would be good to be able to put a book or two on this compact device then you could read little bits anywhere and not have to carry bulky 'real' books around (when travelling). 2) Audible (www.audible.com). They sell online audiobooks for streaming and download. They can be listened to on windows media player, various MP3 player and RealPlayer, but require specific (Audible supplied) software to allow them to be played. There is software that enables the books to be listened to on PocketPC, any chance that it may be converted to SPV?
