A new web site for Smart Phones...

i have built a site for the Smart Phone, wich consits of Skins and software downloads so you can download and install on the move.. I just want to know if it is ok to put the URL up here? if if not add it to another forum?

As far as I know, the only time anyone gets a bit arsey, is if it's a url to another forum. Websites offering content are fine, the more the merrier ;)

It might be nice to add in the names of the software authors also.

You could make the graphics on your site a bit better and "personally" I will never download anything without seeing a screenshot of the software first.

Havent seen this on my phone yet, but how about removing that ugly background pic. Its making some of the text hard to read... :|

It is built for the SPV Browser,and works perfectly on the device, i will be building a site for Desktop bowsers at a later date.. I am not going to include pics of the software on the SPV site as it will use up pointless bandwith.

All the software has links to the site where there usually are Screen shots, so if you really want to see what they are like you can have a look there...

This site was made so people could install all the software on their device without a PC, alot of the sites i have been to have just EXE's to download. This way i have collected the software and turned them in to Cab files so that you dont have to do the creating folders and creating short cuts.

You also have the advantage of an uninstall for the software....

On the screenshot front, why not have a small picture icon nect to the link, that way, people who want to see screen shots can click it and see the screen shot, and those that don't wanna see a screenshot don't have to waste there bandwidth. That way you cater for both audiences.

Definitely make sure you put authors and links to their appropriate home pages, it's the only polite thing to do. In fact rather than a link called homepage pointing to the author how about :

or something similar. After all, I have an ego to maintain and it loves to see my name on peoples web sites :)
