Where to buy SPV ?

Do you think I'm better off going to an Orange shop or buying off the net ?

Also do you know if the character is available on the SPV (this isn't available on my Samsung T100, so I can't log into my email account !).

Buying new from Orange is always going to have advantages over a second hand handset, assuming you don't mind siging up to a 12 month contract. You'll have all the benefits of Orange support and care, and little problem repairing it if it breaks within its warranty period.

You would only buy off the internet if you did not want the contract.

I hope you find one it is a GREAT phone!!!!

Monolithix is right it is better to buy one from Orange becouse of the warenty, it is a expensive phone so a good and easy waranty is the best you can have!!! :-)

Bought one last night from an Orange shop for £0.00 on talk 200, then I'll downgrade my plan after 3 months.

Got my first .wav ringtone on it last night , just gotta figure out the skins bit. But on first impressions I'm very impressed, just gotta sell my Samsung T100 now !

Skins are easy.

The *.hme files are self installing once on ya phone.

My smartphoneipsmapplication datahome (place to copy the *.hme file)

Download filemanager for the SPV (www.coolsmartphone.com)

Install this.

Go to the map shown above in your phone and activate the *.hme file

Now it install itself

*.xml files are more easy

just copy them to the map shown above (do not forget to copy the *.jpg file this is the wallpaper)

In your phone to activate:

go to propertiesfrontscreen (i do not know how everything is writen in the english phones)

choose skin and the rest as defauld

No need for a file manager to install skins.

IF the skin is a .hme file (not all skins are)

Place it in IPSMWindowsStart MenuAccessories

Then on the phone press ProgramsAccessories and the file will be there.

Once run the skin will install on the phone.

If you are after a file manager then the best option is to decert your phone

and install Smart Explorer found at Binarys.com

For any other freeware (uncertified) apps look no further than www.monolithix.org
