Well they wouldn't sell any if they didn't - but thats just extortionate, while the Tanager is that price the SPV lives on!

I know it's dear, but I do think we're "spoilt" in the UK by heavily subsidised phone prices. In some countries, you buy the phone outright, and then take out a contract. In other countries like Spain, mobiles can be almost as much with a contract, as we pay sim free!

And don't forget, even in the UK, "top end" phones without contracts are a lot of money.

eg:- Carphone Warehouse - SE P800 = £500.00, Nokia 8910i = £530.00, Panasonic GD87 = £380.00.

I know which one I'd rather have :!: :)
