that's true.

but why do you have to pay 15 pesos to download those sounds (noises). you can download those types of sounds on the internet for free and transfer them directly to your phone. or if you want, you can record those sounds yourself, convert them to .wav files, save then to your sounds folder and use them for customized sounds.

Hello to all fellow Filipinos especially to Mr. Carlo ..

I am currently using SAP for Smart Network. If I unlock my SAP, is there any effect on your plan and contract for SMART? Does it void the warranty of your phone?

I've upgraded my ROM to 1.5.x.x from Smart Website. Is it still possible to unlock to this version?

welcome to modaco.

technically yes it will void the warranty pero chambahan nalang yan kung di nila (Brightpoint) malalaman...yung iba naman daw nakakalusot :)

if you have 1.5 rom version from Smart, medyo mahirap nayan i-unlock...sana di mo na in-upgrade and instead use the Qtek or Eurotel or iMate update mas maganda pa.

Anyway, you can still unlock it, just read the discussion on the other threads here at Pinoy forum...topics: copying bootloader to SD & Qtek update.

some were able to unlock their SAP 1.5 Smart rom...but word of advice...after you unlock it, dont use na the Smart 1.5 update ;)

@Grifter- thanks for the welcome pards! ha ha ha! balik SE ba :)

i assume your using a P800? T610? well i've been using se for years, kaso P800 is too big for me and di bagay sa kin :wink: then T610, hilaw sa features, kaya eto, sap-sap user na ;)

pards, i've used search, sent PM's to other posters etc, but i cannot open myglobe wap page on my SPV/SAP using globe sim (post) using the www.globe.com.ph apn (not the internet)

i asked casper, but the settings na bibigay nya sakin, parehas lang. so i keep on receiving this- "Unable to connect. verify you have network coverage and try again" :cry:

Btw- i use my addict sim on my T68 to browse

Hi. I was a SE user also and I frequent esato before when I had a T68i and T39m....sold them and got a Smartphone, at dito na lagi sa modaco. Hindi na kako nakaka-bisita sa esato since i forgot narin my password..

Anyway,a friend of mine is looking for a second-hand T610...meron ba kayong kilala nanagbebenta nito? May I also ask magkano ang T610 ngayon sa Semicon?

Thanks.

Hello! Just want to add gusto ko din talaga ang SE. I started with T68, upgraded it to T68i. I switched to SAP and I enjoyed using it because of the features it offers na ang dami ko nang nagagawa because of this forum. But still, hindi ko mabitawan ang SE kaya I got a T610 for my GLOBE number. Takot akong mag-unlock ng SAP kaya for SMART talaga siya...

Thank you guys in this forum (MODACO) because I was able to use my SAP to the fullest... :)

if you happen to read carefully on how to unlock your tanager which is posted here, just try to look for it, you'll enjoy your smartphone more... :)

@kap,

yup. balik SE ako. nagsawa na kasi ako sa kakapalit ng left softkey at call keys e. saka ang pangit ng service ng Brightpoint.

I think may thread dito sa Pinoy area that deals with Globe GPRS setup. Hanapin mo nalang.

@kap

@grifter

@dino,

well, i don't have the time to keep on bringing my phone to BP for repair so I went back to SE. My old t68 never encountered any problem from day 1.

Sayang ang features ng SAP, it's a great phone but the hardware is too brittle.

Might get Mitac Mio when the price goes down. Sa Christmas siguro. hehe...

@ML,

Mag organize ka sa kabila. hehe... :) Sino ba ang EB king sa kabila? Si 619?

hi, i'm also a die hard ericsson fan. i still have my t39m for my globe line. i'm thinking of finally letting it go and might be getting the t610. anyone know how much does the t39m still go for? and how much is the t610 na 2nd hand if there is any available.

you're right,grifter.

Or saan ba mas mura?

thanks..

hope i didn't confuse you... ;)

@ML,

ikaw pala itong EB king e! :) Wag kang pupunta ng sabado. medyo walang tao dun pag sabado at baka matagalan ka pa. skeleton crew lang sila pag sabado. Galing sa Redline, diretso ka pa. Tawid ka ng E-Rod then nasa right mo na yun. Isang 4-story bldg.

@Dino,

Well, wala kasi akong pasensya e. hehe... So SEt610 nalang ako. At least stable and reliable hardware.

Hindi halfday ang BP sa Saturday, up to 3pm sila. ;)
