Hi clubbers of MoDaCo (You know who you are  )!

I need reviewers for my new site WorldClubCulture! All I'd like is for you to write reviews of clubs you go to - Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Cream or even jus your local club and if you can, snap some photo's too!

Go to WorldClubCulture and start reviewing! :)

The more of you that send reviews, the better the community becomes and the more helpfull it will become to other clubbers who are looking for a good night out!

A monthly prize will be sent out to the review of the month, so get clubbing, and get reviewing!!!

I am also on the look out for moderators and administrators. Email me with any applications.

The site seems to be temporarily down. Its hosted on asifs RetroHost and he mentioned something about changing servers so this may be why the sites not working.

I'll try to contact him as soon as I can to see if this can be resolved as soon as possible.

However, if you need more information about the site itself, post it here or pm me/email me.

Thanks again

Hey amo,

Great-looking site. Two questions, one really stupid (probably) and one curious.

1) On your homepage it displays who is online and you've also got a site survey there. How did you do that?

2) Under 'Downloads' are you accepting music made by dabblers like myself? Just getting to grips with making some music on my PC you see. Nothing ready yet, but almost.

Oh and 3) (weren't expecting that one, were you?!) Are RetroNet good? Any problems?

Cheers Amo. Just off to rip all your code! I'm joking!!!!

Thanks! :(

Its easy enough, in the administration options, simply add a new block thats viewable by all visitors

2)  Under 'Downloads' are you accepting music made by dabblers like myself?  Just getting to grips with making some music on my PC you see.  Nothing ready yet, but almost.
I'm definetly accepting home-brew creations! Thats one of the main types I'd like, the downloads on there at the moment are from Gareth Emery (Otherwise known as GTR) and his first creations were made entirely from his laptop while he was on holiday! And he's a local guy (kinda), hes from Southampton and now his stuff gets played by Paul Van Dyk and others. Ive got support from a few bars and soon a couple of clubs too. Dj's such as Jon O Bir also visit the site so you never know who might end up listening to your creations and where it could take you!

Oh and 3) (weren't expecting that one, were you?!) Are RetroNet good?  Any problems?

RetroHost are excellent, really fast, reliable and consistent service. Helps always there if you have any problems and its a greta price too. I really cant recommend them anymore! :)

Thanks for the comments mate :)

Im not sure about the spv version, depends on how the main site goes really. With the rate of interest coming in at the moment it should be in the pipelines soon!

Amo, cool site :) I want to add 3 tracks if thats ok.

One is a dance club type track I did a not too long ago just to try and prove I'd not lost it :!:

One is a hard Hip hop track I produced in 1994, which I still think sounds wicked, with a phat beat and the best scratching I've EVER done :(

And the 3rd is a live mix of Old Skool stuff I did in 1989, using 3 decks and an Akai S950 sampler!!! I practised it solid for about 2 months for my girlfriends party at a small club in Manchester, a few years later we got married

Hope that's ok and people like them :?:

(I tried to upload the first one but I messed up, can they be uploaded straight from my PC, or does it just point to a URL?)

At the moment it just points to an url, i will add the ability for users to upload files directly (as soon as i know how! lol) but i'd love to have your tracks and mix on my site, send me the files over msn or any other way you prefer and ill put them up straight away. The hip hop track sounds ace and the use of a sampler in your mix is also quite intriging. Cant wait to hear them!

Btw, casper...Mistral has to be one of my favourite choons of late last year and this year! Its ace.

Perhaps we could arange a MoDaCo clubbing or bar session?!

EDIT: Oh, thanks for the kind words Gorkstar and thanks all for visiting!

Keep on visiting and contributing to the site! All suggestions welcome
