active sync 3.7 problems

hi,

iv had my spv 4 ages now,but recently downloaded activesync 3.7,when it doesnt bring up a sync error it will open up the 'explore' window-to have nothin in :) so i cant add any programs or anythin,any suggestions-if its a problem with the program where can i get the oloder version from-dont av the disc anymore

When you installed 3.7 did you remove the phone from the cradle?

If not you may have to uninstall Activsync and reinstall it again.

I have just installed 3.7 and everything is working fine.

What are the advantages of 3.7?

Should I bother to fix 3.6 if it ain't broken?

I can't see anything better on this than the older version

even though its ment to be more stable etc ?.

I only tried it because it was new :roll: :)

If you are happy with 3.6 and don't have any problems then

you don't need to update

well iv uninstalled 3.7 now and put 3.6 bac-all is good,so i would suggest that if you havent already,dont bother with 3.7

I installed 3.7 on advice of Orange 156 when I lost inbox & contacts on activesync 3.6. Subsequently I have lost activesync completely. Between 156 & me can't figure how, but looks like I have corrupted file somewhere in Outlook ( won't open, error reads, "Outlook can't open, vital component missing, OM19.DLL). Have tried uninstall/re install, both Activesync & Outlook, still -zip.(yes with USB not connected). Any ideas gratefully appreciated.
