Problem with Handango's Smart Billiard

Help!!!!!

I recently purchased and installed the "Smart Billiard" app from Handango.com on my Smartphone (Tanager). When I play it, it works fine for the first few minutes. But later, a page appears saying "This is a demo version" (or something) ... then it freezes.

Isn't something wrong here? Am I not supposed to get the FULL version?

My credit card bill indicates I was already charged for it.

I already e-mailed Handango Customer Care two times the past week, still no response.

Two Question:

1. What could be the problem?

2. How do I get a refund/exchange for problems like this?

I've had a similar problem with Sunnysoft Battleships bought through Handango. Like you, I paid for the full version, but what I got was just the demo?

After 3 attempts to sort it out (with no joy) Handango have given me a refund.

I've no complaints with the way Handango handled the situation, but I do think they should take more care with choosing what software they are selling, surely they should have some sort of vetting procedures in place?

EDIT:- And they're quite happy to continue selling it even though they admit it doesn't work :!:

I too bought Sunnysoft Battleships, and always get the message saying it is a demo. However, it isn't a demo because the demo version is supposed to place the computer's ships in the same position every time, and it doesn't. The ships are placed in difference positions each game. I think it is just an error with the welcome screen in Battleships, and you do actually get a full working version.

He he cool :!: I'm "pretty" sure (not 100%) that the first version I got DID place the ships in the same place, but then Handango informed me that it had been changed, and to re-download it, which I did.

But after I saw it still said Demo, I havn't even bothered to look at it again.

I've now been given a refund :)

I had to sign a form and fax it to say I'd "DESTROYED" the software :!:

Now that recycle bin thingy on my computer keeps asking me if I want to restore it :wink:

Go and redownload your software after you log into Handango...

You shold be presented with a page where you can redownload your purchased software.

Thanks for the tip on re-downloading from Handango ... I got my Smart Billiard to work (for good, I hope)
