DoomSPV problems

Sorry if this has allready been asked, but i realy wanna get doomSPV to work, but i'm not having much luck

I downloaded doom spv from the authors website and installed the files as suggested: on the storage card, in a dir called Doom spv which contains the doom.exe file and another dir called DoomSPV which contains doom 1.wad. i also created a shortcut and placed this in the start menugames directory.

When i tried to run doom, there was a load of text which scrolled up the screen, and the wheel of colour spun for a few secconds, after that nothing happend, i was just returned to the games menu.

unfortunatly the text moved to fast for me to read so i cant tell you what it said.

It thought maybe the phone might need to be switched off and back on again so i tried that, and my phone re-certified its self and went back to default settings.

any ideas what i need to do?

Firt off the text you see is normal, do you have task manager installed on the phone?

If you do then make sure all background apps etc are closed down to free up space on your

phone before starting up Doom.

Try putting the .wad file in a directory called 'doomSPV' under the directory with the .exe in.

I have it on mine. Works fine. Only thing missing is save function.

well i finaly got it working, but never got as far as the game bit, it seems to eat all the memory on my phone and take about 2-3 mins to execute a function :) any sugestions?

Go to MBoden's site and download Doom again and you will be fine :)
