What are the essential tweaks for a newbie?? :-)

Hi guys,

Im getting my spv on monday and im trying to find out as much as i can before i get it. What are the essiantial things i should do when i get my phone in terms of registry tweaks, "must have" programs etc.

buy an sd card or erase the one that comes with the phone and use that to install softare on- never on the phone, unless essential; keeps phone running smooth

reg tweaks: midnight's speed boosts are excellent

tweaks : turn the keypad tones to "none" in the sounds setting menu.

(also play with "accessibility" settings as you prefer)

essentials IMHO:

quickclose (search modaco) configured on a speed dial. This shuts down all un-essential programs/background tasks at the touch of a button

SP Task manager

smart explorer

Smartface is nice

orneta notepad

registry editor is useful occassionally, but not essential

Ialbum makes the camera worth using

usbterm to make phone backups (will need an sd card and ideally a smartcard reader attached to pc)

Then, miscellaneous depending on your intentions! (pocket tv, games, blah blah)

oh, and a neat homepage.
